Organised events

Special Events & Group Activities

We facilitate community events that align with our sustainability and safety objectives. These include car rallies and trail bike ride events run by organised clubs, educational group visits and dendrology studies, orienteering competitions, Search & Rescue training exercises, and military and Police training programmes by arrangement.

Sustainable Forest Education & Cultural Connection

Mahika Kai Harvest

Honouring our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, we work with local Māori (Nga Runaka) to accommodate traditional food gathering where safe and operationally feasible, supporting cultural connection and traditional practices.

Educational Opportunities

Our forests provide outstanding outdoor classrooms for ornithology and bird watching (including New Zealand falcon monitoring), dendrology and botanical studies, sustainable forestry and carbon sequestration education, and biodiversity and conservation learning.

Our forests are more than working land

They're a space for learning, connection, and adventure. If your club, school, or group has an event in mind, we'd love to help you bring it to life safely.
